Emperor en - Entitlement
"I DESERVE IT, no matter what."
Entitlement is the belief that certain privileges, rewards, or treatment should be given automatically, without effort or contribution.
People with this mindset often underperform and expect results without effort. They may avoid unglamorous tasks or those they view as “beneath them,” disrupting team dynamics. When someone believes success is owed to them, they are less likely to seek feedback, learn, and improve.
"Every act of self-discipline increases your confidence, trust, and belief in yourself and your abilities."

Dee - Distraction
"Come, come and see what I have for you."
Being distracted means having your attention pulled away from the task or goal at hand, either by external interruptions or internal disruptions. In the workplace, distraction reduces concentration, efficiency, and performance.
Mistakes increase when you're not fully focused. Deadlines are missed and important details get overlooked.
Not being attentive to communications makes you seem unreliable and unprofessional. Falling behind due to distraction often leads to a stressful cycle of catch-up and guilt. When you are mental absent at work tasks feel less meaningful or rewarding.
Distraction chips away at the quality of your work, your ability to grow, and your credibility with others. If left unchecked, it can lead to underperformance, missed opportunities, and burnout.
“What distracts us will begin to define us; We don’t need to swing at every pitch.”

appy - apathy
"I don't care."
Apathy is being indifferent and marked by stunted emotions, or low motivation and enthusiasm. A person who is apathetic may lack concern for emotional, social, spiritual, philosophical, or physical life. It often manifests as a lack of drive to pursue goals, minimal emotional response, and disengagement from important issues and responsibilities.
Apathy can strain relationships which can lead to social withdrawal and isolation. Approaching goals with apathetic attitude may result in under performance, missed opportunities, or loss of employment. Sustained apathy can erode confidence and sense of purpose.
"Darkness feeds on apathy."

Big a - arrogance
"I am the best there is. Without a doubt better than you!"
Arrogance is a false sense of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner, and presumptuous claims or assumptions. Arrogance differs from confidence. Confidence is rooted in self-assurance and humility, while arrogance stems from insecurity or the desire to be in control.
It erodes trust and morale, creating a toxic environment that prompts avoidance of others and also harms career prospects and social standing.
Arrogance is often a symptom of fear; fear of being wrong, unimportant, or vulnerable. Awareness and humility are the antidotes.
“Arrogance is the armour of the weak. They are always at war to hide their real self."
— Balroop Singh —

Iggy - ignorance
"I don't know. Do I really need to know?"
Ignorance is the lack of knowledge, understanding, or awareness, but it can be:
Innocent ignorance: not knowing because you’ve never been exposed to the information.
Willful ignorance: choosing to ignore facts or avoid learning, even when the truth is available.
Cultural or systemic ignorance: being unaware of varying societal expectations due to limited education, access, or biased environments.
Ignorance is not inherently shameful; everyone is ignorant about something, but refusing to acknowledge it can be harmful.
“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.”

Slouch - laziness
"That's just too hard. Maybe i’ll do it tomorrow."
Laziness is the choice to avoid effort or responsibility despite having the ability to act and work. It is an attitude that fuels procrastination, especially when it comes to tasks that require sustained focus. It defers to a preference of comfort and ease over necessary action.
Laziness is not the same as rest, burnout, or fatigue. It is a pattern of unwillingness to act.
The longer lazy behavior continues, the harder it becomes to reestablish productive habits, reinforcing a cycle of avoidance and short-term comfort.
